Whether considered as a gate to other sailing classes or just for the fun and sail across the Atlantic, the “Mini Transat” must not be ran without optimal training where meteorology cannot be ignored.
Within a fleet of 85 competitors, 7 skippers relied upon Jean-François Bonnin and Pascal Landure to undertake their pre-routing for the two legs (La Rochelle – Funchal, isle of Madeira, Funchal – Bahia, Brazil) with, at the arrival, more than good results. In this way, Meteostrategy is very pleased to compliment Thomas Ruyant (1st), Stéphane Lediraison (4th), François Cuinet (6th) and Olivier Avram (12th) for the « prototypes » and, for the « series », Henri Meyniel (6th), Emmanuel Renaud (28th) and Nicolas Rouger (43th).
We wish them good luck for the 2010 season and, for us, we won’t fail to meet their needs and will be delighted to discover more ! |
